The Business Networking Show 2017
Friday 15th September at Wolverhampton Racecourse saw the return of The Business Networking Show. It is the biggest networking event with 1400 pre-booked, so I thought why not? Let’s see what this is all about!
Knowing there was that many people in attendance as well as exhibitors and keynote speakers I was a little apprehensive. Being a private investigator, we are good at blending into the background quietly! Well I was certainly pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was electric thanks to the MC Brad Burton, the UK’s number 1 motivational speaker. I learnt so much from the keynote speakers and met some amazing people. One keynote speaker was Dilys Price OBE. She is an 85-year-old skydiver and simply an inspiration to everyone.
By the end of the day, I re-joined 4Networking as a full member. I became a team member at Norwich South Evening 4N meeting and I joined Brad Burton’s Now What Club. All these memberships will see my personal development and my business development soar, so watch this space!
The highlight of my day had to be meeting Paul Bohill. Some may recognise his from Channel 5’s hit show ‘Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away’. For me and the business this was a vital connection and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
I took away so much from the show and I will now always take the leap, get out of my comfort zone and go find new opportunities.
