Legal Aid
We’re pleased to now be offering Legal Aid services to our clients.
In the UK, process serving is a personal service of documents in relation to legal proceedings. Documents must not be mishandled, and they must be given to the person who is the named recipient, or somebody authorised to receive the papers on their behalf.
We accept Legal Aid cases for Process Serving and civil and criminal enquiries, complying with the rate structure that is set out by the Legal Aid Agency. Each service under Legal Aid is broken down into mileage and time and for Process Serving includes the usual statement of service or sworn affidavit.
We can accept Legal Aid funded cases across England and Wales which are actioned typically the same day or within 48 hors on receipt of instructions.
Please ensure you advise the team clearly it is a Legal Aid Process serve or Enquiry which you are instructing us to complete.
We are based in Norwich, Norfolk with national coverage to ensure no matter the location, we can provide reliable services for you.
The Process
1. Send us the Instructions
Please send us the instructions on email. This could be the documents required to be served or specifics of enquiries needed. Please ensure it is marked this is a legal aid case.
If this is a Process Serve, include as much information known about the person being served, such as do they work? Phone number? Can they be served by WhatsApp if an urgent family matter such as Non-Molestation Orders?
2. Confirmation
We will confirm receipt and advise when the first attempt will be made.
3. The serve and enquiries
We will complete the serve or enquiries needed and confirm once completed with our statement of service and/or report.
