Back in 2018, just two years into starting the business we took on an office at Office 4, Unit 4B, Wymondham Business Centre. It was a relatively simple office with enough space for myself and one other. That first employed member of staff.
We had some ups and downs in that office, but it really was the foundation of the business today. We met with clients there, learnt from the other businesses with offices in the building and even had the Daily Mail and EDP do a photoshoot for press stories.
Fast forward to 2020 and we took on our newest member of staff being Jamie who started 3 weeks before lockdown! We all adapted in 2020 and our business was no different. Jamie learnt a lot about the business and all the admin tasks he was continuously set. Throughout the pandemic, Jamie began his investigator training and he is now a fully trained investigator! Suddenly the little office we first took was feeling quite small with Jamie and myself, so a new office was needed as well as more staff!
We had been looking for a new office before lockdown but with all the pandemic uncertainty we had to wait it out. It’s hard being an investigator and working from home as a lot of our work needs to be out in the field so more space and staff have been needed for a while.
The office search was eventful, to say the least, but finally, we have this week taken the keys to the new Investigations HQ and we are recruiting for an office administrator! (Get in touch if you are an admin wizard!)
Our new address is 40 Rose Lane, Norwich NR1 1PN and wow it is exciting times! We have a beautiful frontage that will be fully branded with all new signage and graphics with two floors to allow for the ongoing growth of the team.
It is our 6th Birthday on 25th February 2022 so we will be having a joint birthday celebration and an open day at the new office for our clients, contacts, and friends. Keep an eye out for your exclusive invite!
So it is the end of one era and our first office but the start of our exciting new chapter in our bigger and better premises.
